Vitlite Light SourceThe combination of a low-energy halide arc lamp and patented Sonomed Escalon filtering technology eliminates harmful UV and IR light, producing an extremely white light which immensely improves visualization and definition of red tissue. Shielded Light Probe for
Anterior Segment Surgery
The Siepser Shielded Light Probe provides the surgeon with an indirect illumination system that allows the corneal interface to be easily visualized through the laser microscope.
Through use of the Tindal effect and light scatter technique, the surgeon can enhance visualization of interface debris, epithelial deposits, flap edge folds, corneal flap striae, and flap alignment.
Use of the probe allows the surgeon to address corneal flap management issues while patient is under the laser microscope, resulting in a positive effect on patient care and efficiency.
The Siepser Shielded Light Probe is also extremely useful in efficiently and effectively removing Decemet’s membrane.
