UBM AI + ICL Guru Launch at Nuri Eye Hospital, Daejeon

Last week, our team had a productive visit to South Korea, marking the official launch of UBM AI + ICL Guru at Nuri Eye Hospital in Daejeon — the first site in the country to implement this technology.

The launch took place in a simple ceremony, led by Dr. Seongjun Lee, who highlighted the significant improvement in ICL sizing accuracy. In his own words:

"With the introduction of the ‘UBM AI ICL Guru,’ we are now able to predict ICL sizes more accurately. This has significantly enhanced the safety and stability of our ICL implantation procedures, and I am very pleased to see the improved outcomes for our patients."

During the visit, our team also provided additional clinical education on UBM-based evaluation, supporting the growth of the hospital’s ICL practice. Dr. Lee plans to collect clinical data and present his results at the upcoming KOS meeting in November, and we look forward to a strong collaboration.
