🌟 Wet Lab Training in Chiclayo, Peru 🌟

As part of NORSURC 2025, we conducted a hands-on wet lab training for six doctors at Clínica Vidava in Chiclayo, under the guidance of Dr. Enrique Pfeiffer. The training was conducted using the VuMax HD ultrasound system from Sonomed Escalon.

Participants worked with UBM and explored the capabilities of UBM AI, developed to work seamlessly with ICL Guru. The Sonomed Escalon system features Eye Tracking, Align Assist, and AutoCapture AI, enabling automatic eye alignment, high-quality image capture, and highly accurate calculations for ICL vault prediction.

Doctors honed their practical skills and deepened their understanding of advanced ophthalmic technologies, improving diagnostic precision and patient care. This hands-on approach helps drive innovation and advances ophthalmic education across the region.
